We've been looking for a place to have a cozy afternoon tea and have absolutely made the right choice! The staff was very friendly, attentive and nice. There is a great selection of teas and coffees, both of which come with free refills when paired with afternoon tea. With many sandwiches to choose from and two delicious slices of cake per person it makes for a great late lunch, so make sure you haven't eaten beforehand. The scones are very good too, you may choose between a fruit or plain one. Takeout boxes are available in case of leftovers so nothing gets wasted.

We came here on our visit to canterbury as I prefer going to independent places especially in the current climate. We were not disappointed one bit, the service was amazing and the staff were so friendly. We returned on our next visit and we had the same service again. I know we will be returning on our next. Their baguettes are lovely and their espresso is amazing. I would thoroughly reccomend visiting here!

I ended up here without looking it up- was just walking down the street and thought that it looked like a nice place for a coffee. When I came in though, the daily special listed on the board, a Mediterranean vegetable tart caught my eye. Absolutely fantastic. And the coffee was great too.

13/11/21- Another lovely lunch with with my daughter today. We’re always made to feel very welcome and the staff and service is always excellent. Loving the homemade cakes.
13/04/21- Lovely lunch at Phoebes. Good range on menu, large sandwiches/baguette/panini selection. Salads, omelette and jacket potato’s and breakfast menu before 11.30. All reasonably priced.
Delicious homemade cakes, perfect with my Americano. Fantastic customer service and the owner was lovely.
14/04/21- My 7 year old daughter was so happy with yesterday’s visit, she insisted we came back again today. The food and service is excellent again and the space is Covid secure with a lovely sun trap court yard. Lots of space and social distance with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Wow! Great find for a gorgeous early breakfast after dropping in the car for a service. With partner plus dog, we were made very welcome, and dogs are treated royally, too.
Lovely old building, with very nice terrace, great cakes and super range of food. Car parking a very short walk away. Will be back soon!
