The Thomas Ingoldsby - Canterbury - Photo album

Went for a quick breakfast. Ordered at the table using QR code, which we now see as very convenient and use a lot. They brought us our food- full English breakfast- and the mugs for coffee at the same time. We had to leave our food and go and get our coffees at the far end of the restaurant. As a re
For the price, the room is not bad -Clean! Dinning: the food is very affordable. The fish & chip is not bad for the price. Steak is not great! Friend ordered medium rare but it was over cooked! Drinks price is great! Breakfast is acceptable. Service is acceptable.
The top end of the spoons experience. Having previously stayed here as well, I remember the rooms to be clean and contemporary. Even though the ground floor bar is extremely popular, it's usually full of good-natured locals just having a good time! For a more quiet and subdued private drink, we have
Highly recommended! Stayed for a week, in a Most Excellent room. Great value for money. Had breakfast in the bar every morning, which was Most Excellent every day too. Thank you to the entire team for a Most Excellent service. We will be back...
Spacious and stylish interior. Upstairs lounge is for App orders only which is a great idea - no-one hanging around the bar! We are there on 2 visits and the meals were fresh and delicious. Great staff.
We had 5 delicious meals, 2 drinks each and sides for £65. Lovely food, staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was good. The decor and layout is good, in keeping with Canterbury itself. We really enjoyed our meal and had a great time, would definitely recommend and visit again.
The room was very spacious and a good value for the money. My room had an automatic sky light! My only complaint is that they did not have a single low/no alcohol on tap! They did have a few bottled options. But fresh from the tap is always better.
It's a spoons. Quite a big one, with lots of students so the atmosphere is pretty lively if that's your thing! Good: Cheap Plenty of tables App ordering Good range of drinks (including alcohol free) WiFi Unlimited coffee refills Unique carpet Bad: Sticky tables Noisy (could do with some sound da
Typical Spoons value in a tourist area. Not pretentious. Staff friendly. Beer selection not as good as expected. No local beers but enjoyed it Cornish brew. Enjoyed fish and chips. Service was quick. Good old Spoons!!
The Thomas Ingoldsby is one of 2 Wetherspoon pubs in Canterbury. Situated just a stones throw from the Cathedral This pub is the larger and more popular of the 2 boasting 2 spacious floors, and a 13 room hotel. The Thomas Ingoldsby in Burgate opened as a Wetherspoon pub in 1997. The site used to be
We've spent only 1 night there but I've loved the hotel. They gave us a massive room, very cosy and clean, and the food was excellent. I would definitely come back
