Poppies Restaurant - Canterbury - Photo album

I took my family here one morning recently for breakfast, and I have to say I was impressed and had a great meal and experience. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a smile and shown to a table which was clean and plenty of space (I’m a big fella). The menu is what you’d expect from a typical
Fantastic food and service. The eggs were delicious ^_^ 10/10
Ate here a number of times and always good food. The service is quick and the selection large. The price is very reasonable when compared with other eating establishments. The food served up is nothing fancy, so if that's what you want don't waste your time. If you enjoy good cooking and a workmens
Excellent cafe. Great service. Superb value for money. Varied choice of menu. Delicious deserts. Lamb roast was very good & good price of 7.99. Quick service. Fabulous find in the heart of Canterbury.
I'm a frequent visitor to this quick and easy cafe. Although it calls itself a 'restaurant' it is definitely more tailored towards cafe/dinner-style service. Brilliant for students as its rates are cheap and the portions are large enough that it feels a bargain. Highly recommended.
Good reasonably priced food popular with locals. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Wheelchair access is possible although I didn't see any area for wheelchairs I'm sure staff would assist were required height challegend need not worry as there are no counters.
Lovely diner, often come here for breakfast my grandson loves the milkshakes . We ordered a variety of different dishes, jacket potato, full English breakfast, sausage and bacon baguette and beans and scr5ambked egg on toast. Everything was hot and fresh. The staff are pleasant.
Such friendly staff and good service. Food is lovely and reasonably priced.
We visited Canterbury recently with no idea of where to eat, and expecting such a city to be expensive. We were delighted to come across Poppies by accident. The food was excellent, and was served without delay, and in clean surroundings. Excellent value for money, and definitely one to remember.
I adore this place! Come here every week for the past 2-3 years now, the girls are lovely and you get good portions of food for what you pay. Couldn’t fault it 🥳
First time visit today. Came in for lunch with the fella. Basic menu, down to earth cafe not some fancy tea room. The staff were so polite and we wernt waiting long to order or to recieve our food. I had an omelette and it was beautiful, my fella had a fry up and I wish I had too because it looked s
I like the food here it's always good. This time when i visited i fell down the stairs to the toilets as they are very thin steps and twisted ankle/chipped bone. One of the ladies in there was lovely about it.
It's now called 'The Cafe'. I like their Omelette varieties. The hot drinks are nice. The staff are welcoming & friendly. Maria is lovely,
For a simple cafe it was a good experience, the staff were on the ball and very friendly, I had a breakfast which was probably one of the best I've had in the area and the prices on their menu I thought were good value for money, will definitely be going back there the next time I am in Canterbury
Nice clean cosy eaterie, allday breakfasts, burgers and very varied menu, childrens menu available with teas, coffees and soft drinks. Very popular when visiting the Marlowe Theatre, Saturdays can be very busy. Plenty staff for table waiting,no long waits for food. Very popular in Canterbury. I go there
