Had it with pleased experience. It was a sunny day near the noon, and I was the only customer at that time. The staff did the fish and chips on the spot which surprised me, but with satisfying service. I would describe it is a pleasant experience, oh I said it at the beginning.

I ordered large cod and it came very large. Chicken strips also taste good but I would strongly recommend the calamari. It was the best calamari I've ever had. Delicious food with good prices! (Btw, no dips given with any dishes so you have to extra pay for it)
Probably the best fish and chips in Canterbury! Always cooked fresh and really nice batter on the fish. Good portions too and a pretty extensive menu.

I recently ordered a medium cod and chips from marinos, the portion size and taste was fantastic best fish and chips I've had in ages. The kind, friendly young lady behind the counter said to me "sorry for the wait, we've gave you a little bit extra fish because we kept you waiting".
In all honesty
Jumbo sausage and chips were nice, a large chips is HUGE here which is great. Service was good and quick.
