I'd like to thank Lou in Customer Service for great service.
I went there yesterday to make a return on an electrical item that stopped working less than a year after purchase. There were no quibbles - Lou just asked for my receipt and promptly made the refund.
I went back again to ask about the returns policy on specific items. Once again, Lou provided prompt service.
Finally, having finished my shopping and with a full trolley, I found that the cab service that customers can call from the store was unreachable. As the phone is located next to Customer Service, I told Lou - and, yes, he fixed it! He called another cab service to pick me up.
This is the kind of service that's been missing in the UK for a while now. Thank you Lou for demonstrating that pockets of this still exist.
Had a bit of a re-fit in the toy department, which looks a lot more marketable!
Could do with improving their Click and Collect, the amount of times we’ve had to wait, due to how the system is set up, and that the person that has to collect the items have to walk the other end of the shop.
Maybe a re-think would be a good thing.
Other than that, shopping wise, never had an issue.
We go here a lot for the fresh made Sushi, and the end bits in a pot, I could eat that every day. Probably the best sushi we’ve had, and the staff will always help and make what you need, if it’s not out on display.
I didn't really like asda (only for cheap sweet treats), but after the opposite Lidl closed in June, i started going here more often, its a lovely large store, almost empty around 2pm weekdays. Good choice and cheap foods. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Overall a good shopping experience week in week out
Always called out for checks but the shop was easy to navigate and had all I needed
Is a good store to shop toys.
A fairly pleasant experience, one criticism would be online shopping pickers have huge trolleys which are constantly in the way. Oh and today's visit note butter is where its signed for cheese and cheese is where the butter is signed.

Great food , including hot cooked meats and great produce
They sell something for everyone
Lots of good things about asdas, the products are fair priced and good, the staff are lovely, they have a pharmacy, optometrist, money exchange, cafe, and a shoe repair shop. They also sell vapes, stamps, cigarettes, alcohol( you need I.d for both the previous if you are younger). The parking is good and they have delivery or click and collect although personally I wouldn't do the accept substitutions on the online orders as some of the pickers don't look for the items, but that's just my experience. On the whole, a very good store.
