I am born and raised in Detroit and can say - this pizza is delicious! Very unique flavors to try and the crust was spot on. I just wish the service was a bit faster… took 50 minutes to receive the 3 pizzas we ordered dining in and no one checked on us or told us there was a delay. I had to go downstairs to ask if there was an issue because it was taking so long!! Hope they find a way to improve on that end, but I’ll be happy to go back as it’s a taste of home for me!

Surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Food was incredible but service was a little slow despite being the only ones in the restaurant.
Atmosphere felt a little forced and the music (whenever it would play a song for more than 30 seconds before being changed) was way too loud and the waitress who served us struggled to turn it down.
Would I come back? If it's still around next time I'm in the mood for pizza, (which if you're that empty on a Friday night, doesn't paint a good picture...) then definitely!

Great pizza and especially decent prices on two for tuesdays. The crust was so delightful and there’s lots of seating. Service was a bit cheeky as there’s an automatic 10% service fee that you aren’t told about when paying or given the opportunity to remove. Would be nice if they let you buy by the slice as the pizzas are quite big

After my first detroit style pizza in Bournemouth a week ago and loving it you can imagine my pleasure when I stumbled across this place and it did not disappoint.

We thought the regular pizzas would be too small but boy were we wrong! Such a good price for a delicious pizza. Lots of choice and the staff were lovely. The man making the pizza seemed really passionate about them and gave us tips to warm up the leftovers. Starter was lovely too. Could not fault.

Wasn't sure what to expect from Detroit style pizza, but it was incredible. The pizzas are deep pan, but still somehow light, with a generous amount of toppings with amazing flavours. The staff were very helpful and friendly, can't fault our experience at all!

Visited today. Best pizza I've had since I was in Chicago 4 years ago!
4 of us had 4 different pizzas (regular is more than enough!) Also some cheesy garlic bread and a burrata salad (bloody lovely!)
Pizzas were epic! Will def be back here in the future!!

Amazing first experience here tonight! The range of pizzas and their toppings gives something for every type of pizza lover. The staff were fantastic and the manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming to the new restaurant. Square Peg Detroit Pizza is a really interesting and new way to enjoy pizza. Ask David about the history behind this restaurant, it is so interesting to learn about and their journey is shown in their decor. Will definitely be returning!🙌🏻😍🍕
