The Millers Arms Restaurant

Stopped here whilst bikepacking the North Downs Way MTB route. Very popular with local cyclists finishing off with a drink! A lovely old building set in a great location next to a weir on the edge of the city centre. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well presented like the rest of the establishment. Service was excellent and liked it so much I decided to take a rest day here and stopped for an extra night! I ate in the pub in the evening the first night and enjoyed a good take on burger and chips. Included breakfast was excellent and no bother to swap fried for poached eggs. The manager lives next door and took my bike to store in his house which was next door to the pub. It didn't bother me, but the noise of the weir is quite loud so if you have trouble sleeping then ask for one of the rooms at the back.
