From the moment I walk into the Lantern and be greeted by Annie I feel right at home. I go for lunch often and always enjoy the beautiful meals that are delivered to my table by the friendly staff. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The whole place is lovely and clean. I always feel safe and happy there. I will be looking forward to my next visit.

I must admit the service has declined here. Pre-Covid, when you went there was table service and the meal came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Now you have to queue to order and the meal takes quite a while to arrive, then before you've finished the meal all service has stopped.
The food is still good, just slow to arrive and there's not really time to order desert or coffee after the meal

The fish and chips was so good. Crispy and crunchy and prawn spaghetti was just delicious. After the meal the coffee and cakes were just mind blowing. Lastly the service was extraordinary. This was the experience we had last night on Friday. Will recommend everybody to visit this place for good food and beverages.

Came on weekend(Saturday)for dinner with my family. We were super happy with the service and food. Though we didn't book the table ahead and walk in, despite super busy the male staff came to us and he was able to manage table for us. Feel like a proper management and good environment.
The coffee was good and cakes were amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Food was very good. Had a chilli prawns, was very tasty and fresh.

This place not going to lie had a good atmosphere but, the food was horrid the burger patty tasted like a reheated patty in the microwave the chicken burger was gross the bacon in the burger was raw the schnitzel was burn the best thing was the drink (we got water by the way) I can’t explain how disappointing and frustratingly bad yeh food was. The only reason I give this star is cause the place is nice.
