This was genuinely one of the best burgers I’ve had in the UK (coming from an American). The burgers were juicy and the flavor was incredible. The duck fries were also amazing—perfectly crispy and delicious.
The location is pretty small, so large parties should probably do take out, but as a group of 5, it worked out well. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

Went here for burger and chips, and was pleasantly surprised. When you walk into the little hole in the wall, it is very small and cosy, enough for 7 if you sit shoulder to shoulder.
The service was fab, with the woman taking our order, and having everything ready in about 10 minutes, and it was all delicious.
We tried the standard burger which was excellent, tender and juicy meat and seasoned well with great flavour. I also had the La Primera, which was Mexican inspired. It had a circular tortilla chip inside, and other Mexican seasonings and Salsa. This tasted great but to be honest, the flavour of all the seasonings were so overpowering that the meat flavour didn't come out as strongly.
What really blew us away though was the cheese and bacon fries! Wow! They tasted incredible, and were the perfect texture, very crunchy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. They were extremely moreish. If I lived closeby, I would taken these weekly.
When I'm back in Canterbury, I'd love to come back to try everything else on the menu. Recommended!
1st visit, the burger was quite nice but I wasn't crazy about it.
2nd visit, hell yeah the duck fries are brilliant. Crispy and fluffy.
3rd visit, whoof the bacon Mac is another delightful treat that was done properly as well.
... Now I'm hooked.
Toppling fries are yummy, no matter it’s duck on fries or BBQ pulled pork on fries. Always find it suits my taste. Burgers also tasty, juicy patty, impressive dressing. The downside is I cannot have anything else after having them, well, it’s not a real downside.
Delicious food. I had the Piggy Nachos - pulled pork nachos and my husband had the Notorious BRG burger). I assume mostly for takeout but they have three small table/shelves for two each. If I ever return to Canterbury, I'd eat here again!
I was strolling by this joint, and that smell hit me, so darn good. Can’t even pick a fave because both were just killers. The toppings were totally out there. The patty was smoky and had a bursting flavour.
Brilliant place. Food was ready after <5 minutes and tasted amazing. Prices were great, all burgers were under £10. Definitely recommend.
Perfect foods and nice staffs. I absolutely love the BBQ Chicken Mac and the Cheesy Bacon Fries. They are the perfect combination. One of the best restaurant in Canterbury. Strongly recommended!
Great burger place! We were looking for food and we decided to check this out based on Google reviews. This is not a dinning place, it's a take out/away with 7 available sitting stools. Not ideal to sit and eat, much better to grab your food and go elsewhere. Food-wise, the burgers we tried were very good! Juicy, tasty, easy to handle. I also went for the mac n cheese, which was a tad grainy, but very tasty and creemy and cheesy! Would I go back? Def not to sit, but def ordering again when in Canterbury!
Absolutely awesome burgers. You know how much better a five guys is over a BK? This is that much better over 5G again. Duck loaded fries were incredible. Super friendly and cool staff too. Much better way to spend £15 than the cathedral.
