Had a wonderful meal here-highly recommended. Firstly we were acknowledged as soon as we walked in despite the member of staff dealing with a booking on the phone- always a positive. Service was excellent all round, particularly our waiter whose name I didn't catch but I believe it was his first day. He was professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Great work indeed. Menu was interesting and food we had was superb. Definitely be going back. Thank you all.

Risotto, ravioli n salad were above avg. The pizza was subjectively below avg. The crush was thin but soggy. Service was excellent 👍

Food was good. A tad expensive £34 for a steak but the pizza £16.50 was delicious. Service was excellent. It is cold everytime the door opens so ask for a table away from the entrance. The server did move us without being asked. place for somewhere a bit nicer.

We went here after visiting the Malowe Theatre, which the restaurant is less than a 5 minute walk from. They offer a free glass of wine or beer when shown a theatre ticket. We asked for a soft drink instead which they were happy to do. We opted for passion fruit juice, as this isn't something normally seen on a menu, which was very nice. We both chose Chicken Saltimbocca for main course. The chicken breast was very large and cooked to perfection, with the pancetta on the outside nice and crispy. The sauce was full of flavour and complimented the chicken perfectly. It came with a tomato and mozzarella aranci which I thought was a great carb option for the dish. For dessert I went for the Burnt Basque Cheesecake, which our server said was new on the menu so would like some feedback on it. I thought it was delicious! Cheesecake isn't something I usually go for as kind find it a bit sickly but this was very light. The berry compote gave the right amount of tartness and the whipped vanilla cream was a great accompaniment. I think ice cream would have made the dish too heavy. Will definitely be back as the food and service were great.

Honestly 10/10 place. Would definitely recommend everyone. Not super cheap, but the food is fresh and very good so the price is excusable. I would book a table outside if possible, because it’s very picturesque with the lavender.

It was very tasty. The twice cooked beef was delicious. The fries are a bit not to my taste. The beef carpaccio was amazing.

We got married today. And decided for a small lunch afterwards here at Cafe Du Soleil as it was so close to the registry office. They gave us a free glass of simpsons sparkling wine to congratulate us, which really was such a lovely touch. They let us get changed out of our dress and suit before the meal and held our clothes upstairs for us. The waiter and waitress were just fabulous and so attentive but not too much so they were on top of you type thing. The food was divine! We can’t wait to come back again and will use here for all of our anniversaries! Thank you for making our first meal as Mr and Mrs so special! Top service and food! Thank you!

Came here spontaneously and was pleasantly surprised. Service was good, very friendly staff. The food exceeded expectations and was very tasty, especially the squid salad starter and the duck main. We also ordered a pizza which was also very nice. My only criticism would be that the portion sizes were a little on the small side, but was somewhat made up for by tasting great. Another side note is that the tables were a touch on the small side for a party of 4 and we kept bumping elbows.
