My favourite cafe. I love the atmosphere there, cakes/lunches and of course coffee! Close by the cathedral car park and town centre. Staff is super friendly!

Amalis is a lovely café, situated on Upper Bridge Street, opposite Burgate in Canterbury. Stopped for lunch and had an amazing filo chicken pie and coffee. Tasted great and a lovely coffee too. I would highly recommend the short trip out of the city centre to this absolute gem. Check out the cakes 🤩

Beautiful cafe with helpful and welcoming staff. I had a issue with my Mocha drink they were quick to change my drink and recommended a lovely Latte Chai. Very accommodating and professional.

Our favourite Caffe! Great selection of drinks and food at an affordable price and great variety of delicious cakes. It's a really cosy place to go for a coffee or something to eat as it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Worth a visit!

A beautiful little gem 💎 ✨️ in the heart of Canterbury! An excellent café with a variety of cakes, gâteaux, pastries & pies with a somewhat Greek influence.. nicely accompanied by a variety of hot and cold coffees and tea... Go on, try it ... even if it's all Greek to you 😉

I gave this a 5 star because I loved the overall presentation, cleanliness of the place and politeness of the staff. A nice selection of cakes and pastries to choose from. Location is set on a main road just a short walk from the centre. A nice contemporary and fresh feel to the place make this a worthwhile visit. 👍

An amazing, genuinely friendly, relaxed and welcoming place, with the beauty and thoughtful immediacy of the Greek culture, ran by a wonderful, hard working family. Lovely interior design. Clean and tidy environment, including modern and clean facilities. Great coffee, always served with a glass of water on the side. Impressively wide and delicious selection of cakes, pastries etc. - well priced (large portions) too. Good internet connection. Feeling welcomed whenever popping in. Anyone can feel at home regardless of age, background, status etc. It's also family friendly. Canterbury (and Western society) is in great need of such authentic, community building and human relationships nurturing places like the Amalis Caffé.

I love visiting here. Amazing selection of Greek traditional savoury pastries, baguettes and sweet cakes, baklava and ice creams. Good coffee too. You can tell they've really thought about the authentic and the experience. Attentive to giving you water on your table, before you even ask for it.
