Great meal, friendly staff and prompt service. I will be back to try some other delicious looking items on their menu.

First time was a Friday evening and place was super quiet and yet they packed anybody who came into the restaurant into the same corner.
Felt cramped and annoyed as whole restaurant but food was good. I get they want to make the palce look busy by putting people in front of the window but this was ridiculous.
Second time I came back with family and place was super busy but they accommodated us more now. They told us originally only stool seats but then asked if we wanted to move to a table. We all preferred the stool seats as could watch everything coming out of the kitchen and easier to get somebodys attention if needed it. My second meal was even nicer than the first and will definitely come back for more.

A very nice cosy Italian restaurant. Me and my friend went there for food and catch up. The ambience in there was really nice and cosy. We booked an hr to 30 mins ago table. They send you confirmation once booked.
We went there on time, however the parking was very difficult as it was freshers week, but found parking in one of the side street lane.
We didn't had to wait long and were sat immediately as soon as we entered. There weren't any mocktails on the menu, however the server said he would make something for me and he did indeed but forgot to take a picture.
Me and my friend ordered the following: Penne Pollo Pomodori - sautéed chicken strips, red peppers, touch of sundries tomato in creamy pesto sauce.
My friend ordered - Chicken and Chorizo Risotto - Arborio rice, with chicken, red pepper, peas abd chorizo. Both these dishes are amazingly delicious. Would highly recommend these two dishes. Overall a good experience and would definitely comeback.
Beautiful venue with very friendly staff. My friend was a bit concerned about her chicken in her pasta and although the waiter assured us it was cooked was nice enough to make an entirely new one for us! I had a strawberry daiquiri which was lovely and a spaghetti carbonara. The food was delicious although I wasn't fully happy with the portions as they seemed a bit small and my dessert. Would definitely go again! But sadly not a 5 star!
Came here on Friday. Food was lovely and the women service was amazing with us. When my mum felt faint in the place the women was very accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. I would recommend to anyone who want great service. Also did gluten free options and made the garlic bread gluten free too
So close to a 5*. The atmosphere and acoustics of the place is amazing, you really feel comfortable. My food was very tasty, and fair value. White choc cheesecake was a highlight.
I’ve visited this Svago Italian once and I absolutely love the food at this place. I had the pasta with shaved nuts. I wasn’t too sure about them when I ordered them, however when I tasted them they were amazing. The service is also good, and the place is nice and cosy. The prices are fairly similar to other Italian restaurants and quantity is also good. I’m looking forward to my next visit here and it is one my favorite Cardiff Restaurants.
Delicious food and very friendly service! They made us up a vegetarian antipasti plate despite it not being on the menu, and the starters and pizzas were delicious, and the perfect amount of food!!
Our family of 8 adults and 8 children had a lovey celebration meal for my birthday.
We were well looked after by the manager who is always very accommodating, caring and provides excellent service with a smile.
went as a group of for a friend's birthday, got all the food in the picture plus a butterscotch panna cotta. the food was incredible and couldn't fault the service.
Went for the early bird menu with a friend yesterday evening! Great value, the portions were perfect, and the food was delicious! Service was amazing, friendly and attentive. And the aperol spritz was so good :) 🤌🏼
