Me and my partner booked a table here for a Sunday roast - it was a surprise booking for my partner but I decided after looking at the menu and seeing ‘slow-roasted leg of lamb’ as well as the many Mediterranean inspired dishes. The food was incredible, it was fresh, quick to come out and absolutely worth every penny! However, the service absolutely outdid the food if that was even possible! We were warmly greeted and taken care of by multiple staff members who even helped me write out a Welsh birthday message for my friend! I have already recommended this place to my friends as there is nothing I can fault especially with the beautiful decor! We will definitely come back again😊

It was our date night, came over without booking upfront, seats were provided straight away even though place was busy, starters made with tasty and fresh products, I had tuna as main course and it was absolutely incredible!!! So tasty!!! And then coffee ☕️ that was actually HOT and tasty with delicious desert! Will definitely come back Thank you

Lovely, intimate surroundings with excellent, efficient service. We were impressed with the quality of the glasses and pretty water carafe that was automatically brought to the table. Staff very polite and friendly. Good to be able to see staff cooking in kitchen and we were very impressed with the efficiency of kitchen staff organising the order of dishes to be prepared. Meals we had were beautifully cooked - my belly pork just melted and fell apart and my partner's burger with pancetta was simply delicious. We'll be back!

It can get busy so I recommend booking a reservation. I was there for breakfast and I loved the food. I had waffles with bacon & hash browns. I wanted a side of scrambled eggs which they were able to do. My boyfriend had pancakes with the winterberry compote. Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back!

As a second time eating here on a Sunday, I felt it was about time I reviewed. Found The Brook Bistro by chance a month ago whilst looking for a place for a good Sunday dinner but what i found was outstanding. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are so attentive and Chloe always goes above and beyond. As a self confessed foodie, I can't find fault in the food. Arrived in good time, well presented and taste... so good. Extra gravy offered and any sauces we wanted. Dessert.... I'd happily just stop by for that! Already booked the next meal for a group of friends to return. Not to be missed.

Booked Sunday lunch today with family. The food was exceptional as were the cocktails, but what deserves a particular mention was that every single member of staff were so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us (this really can make or break a meal out more than the food for me ) ! Fab with our 7 month old also, bringing over a plate of veg and bits to keep him entertained. 10/10 !

Visited with a group of friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant had been recently decorated and looked really good. Tables were set nicely with pretty glasses. Had a great table in the window. It was packed with a lively, happy atmosphere. The food options were good and prices reasonable. Desserts were delicious!! The few downsides are: shared toilets with a low water use cistern sink. They were messy and it was not nice stretching over the toilet to wash my hands. Wine choice - they'd run out of house wine so only had pretty pricey wine left (without warning us of the higher price), the main course could have been tastier (more garlic and olive oil in beans). Looking forward to returning to try the brunch! Returned for Sunday lunch in Feb - desserts were still awesome, roasts were OK some good bits, some not so great. Sticking with 4*.
