Irie Shack

Super cool place, the vibes were great. I went with a group of 11 girls and we all chose to get cocktails with our meal which arrived very quickly AND were 2 for 1!! We were very happy. The service was so good especially considering the size of the group, sometimes when you go to places with that many people it can be such a struggle to even get the correct meal and things often get mixed up, but at Irie Shack it went so well and no one was left hungry or disappointed. The only suggestion I would make is that the curry pots need a bit more flavour or spice, I'm no chef but it felt like it was lacking something which I can't quite put my finger on, also there was some confusion over whether we had to pay for the jerk sauce as some of use where charge a pound and others where given for free (nothing major just something worthy of mentioning) Overall I would definitely go again, everyone was super friendly and we all left very satisfied and with full tummy.

Had a great meal here last night with friends Staff were great and the place looked great. Food very a reasonably priced and tasted very good. The portions, especially the pots are large, so beware of ordering too much. Good menu with Vegan options Red stripe bear is nice. 3 main meals with sides and a beer was about £50, which I thought was a good price . I would give 5 stars but they forgot our dumpling sides. For some reason they showed on my receipt but not on the order ticket that was printed for the kitchen. It was quickly rectified.

Good tasting food. We had stewed chicken and curried goat. Portion sizes were generous. Prices were reasonable. I would prefer waiting service instead of having to go inside to the bar. The crockery seemed a little tired, I guess it could add to the family type ambience. The tables were a little dirty. Staff could have been a little more friendly. But overall, I would go again despite my comments as the food was worth it.
