Honestly, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. So many qualities that vary from the staff, food to the restaurant layout. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back! The food and staff were amazing and this is definitely my new favourite place to eat. Thankyou for the great experience:)
Very good authentic italian food. I visited ciliegino for the first time last week and tried the seafood pasta which was cooked to perfection. Very good value for money. At the end of the meal I ordered the seafood pizza to take away the pizza was ready within 10 minutes of placing the order. Fantastic service all around with the traditional italian ambience. If you havent been to ciliegini yet I recommend it to everyone.
The best pizza I’ve had in Cardiff! Starting off with drinks, everything is reasonably priced, and a good selection of everything non-alcoholic and alcoholic.
The starters were really good, you get a large portion of calamari for the price! Perfectly cooked as well.
The pizza crust was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and springy on the inside, this is the only time I’ve willingly wanted to have more crust! The pizza as a whole was delicious and flavourful.
The truffle pasta was creamy and delicious, you actually get truffle on top which I didn’t expect at all!
Finally the tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had in my life, I would’ve had another one if I could 😂
All in all would come back again, thank you for the amazing experience!

First time in Cardiff and came because of great reviews on Trip Advisor. They didn’t disappoint! Food was lovely and service very good. Manager made us feel very welcome, 100% recommend.
Located on the first floor of st David shopping mall.
Interior- modern. Seating to the walk way of the mall as well as the interior of the restaurant.
It was a quick in and out for me as I had a train to catch.
They did well as In and out in 20mins with a spaghetti carbonara truffle-Nice dish.
Was offered a complimentary limoncello which is a lovely gesture.
Will definitely come back for a longer meal.
A great Italian restaurant with fast service and tasty meals. The pizza was really good and the pasta sauce was nothing but fresh and authentic feel. We shall come back again!
It’s really hard to put into words the authenticity of the Italian dishes in this place. I have never felt so welcomed and well-fed. If you are looking for somewhere that reminds you of Italy, look no further, Ciliegino is the place to be!

Went for a 21st Birthday celebration…food was delicious, hot & tasty. The Manager, Chef & Staff are all nice & friendly - even accommodated a request for something which was not on the menu - they took very good care of us & made us all feel specially treated - especially the Birthday girl bringing out a candle in her dessert & singing Happy Birthday - a really nice extra touch.

This place is outstanding. The staff were amazing and looked after us very well. The food we had was as amazing and very reasonably priced. The stand out item for me was the pizza and was the best I’ve had in a long while if not the best ever. Steak also cooked perfectly and as ordered. If your in town give this place a try I wished I’d found it earlier!
