I go to The Black Lion on a regular basis and have to say I feel extremely welcome. Jen, and 'The Team' have welcomed me into their family and its amazing. I would recommend The Black Lion to anyone in the area, indeed I often am accompanied by two of my friends who also feel that its a great place. Jen really cares for the customers that come into the pub and her attitude towards us proves this.

Visited for steak last night and I cannot rate it highly enough. We have visited on a few occasions for drinks but decided to try dinner and it was all cooked to perfection. Staff are always great, we are always made to feel welcome! X

Had a nice e few drinks with the lads on a Friday night. . Nice chilled atmosphere This would be a great venue for live music. Seen a few bands here in the past always good Good pub worth a visit. Old school

We go here every few weeks. Good local pub. Looks like it has had some refurbishments done which have improved the pub. We didnt eat here on this occasion but they do serve food and it was good when we ate here.

Visited this pub on Friday for a meal with my family and i can proudly say that this is by far one of the best pub meals I've had in a very long time. The staff were extremely welcoming and so helpful and the meal was amazing. I would highly recommend the burgers and the presentation was beautiful. I will certainly be coming back to this lovely little pub!

Made a booking for this pub on wednesday for Friday to have a few drinks and a meal with my friends. The food was lovely and the staff were great! Would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking to have a quick but lovely meal along with a lovely old school atmosphere. The hanging flower baskets outside make it feel like summer time! 5 stars!

Went for a pint with a mate who I hadn't seen for a long while. Pub was empty onther than 2 ladies who had food, a feller having a bottle of wine and 1 other with a pint. Clean pub beer was good and an average price.

Visited this little gem with the family last week and was made to SO welcomed, the staff could not do enough for us, and the manager was a ray of sunshine. The food was probably the best we had from a pub. I can’t recommend this the pub highly enough. 5 Stars plus.

Went here a few days ago with some friends for the first time and all of us loved it. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. We was served byJade and she was very polite and friendly. We’ll be going back for sure.
