Superb pint of Guinness in The Packet. I'm from Cardiff and can't believe I've never set foot in here before. Definitely missed out!!
Very well kept pub in a lovely old building.
Great pub on the edge of mermaid quay. Lovely original finishes remain throughout, nice little beer garden and plenty of TVs to watch a range of sports. Lovely atmosphere and friendly bar staff with great selection of drinks available. Would definitely stop here again
Excellent old skool traditional pub. The landlord knows how to make a friendly atmosphere in an area full of "bars" not pubs.

Visited on and off for years but going more regular recently as find the place has gone so much more inviting with the refurb, Aisha especially is great, always helpful and chatty.
