The food is excellent, a very good standard. The staff are friendly. We've been a few times and sat at different tables, they all feel a bit sticky, seems like the varnish has perished!!

Booking on line was easy and straightforward. The welcome was polite, courteous and friendly. The staff were happy and always smiling and interacted well with myself and my 5 guests. The service was excellent, the waiters courteous and attentive. The surroundings pleasant and relaxing. The food was plentiful ,with a few tweaks , could be perfect. My pork was dry (pre sliced ?) The potatoes a little tough ,Lovely Yorkshire and fresh veg. The wine selection was good .
The pub was quiet so I suppose the service was going to be efficient. The food was excellent and the bonus of a pint of Marstons 61 Deep certainly helped. Staff were courteous. A very positive experience all round.

Just had the 3 roast Sunday lunch at the Plough…… it was amazing. Good size portions and meats cooked to perfection. A family meal and we all cleaned our plates.
Pleasant seating position ie inside but next to opening to beer garden. Good food well presented at a fair price. Very good staff. Manager (? gentleman from Wirral!) exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
Excellent family meal on a Sunday evening. Mike looked after us at the table and the food was excellent. Allergies were catered for without issue.
