It was a quiet day when I came, had a carvery (Pork). Food was nice didn't get to try any of the beers, since I had to go into work not long after.

Let’s be honest, for the price you can not complain.
Very good quality food and service is decent.
Lot of variety on the menu plus the carvery. Which I cannot comment on due to me not trying it yet.
Defo worth a visit if you want to go out and have a quick bite!

Food is good here. People flock here for their roast dinners. What let it down for me was the barmaid who chatted to her friend for almost 10 minutes, while the other barmaid had to deal with a long line of people waiting to be served. Shame! Other than that, I loved my meal.

Not much meat put on plates this time normally few slices but only one slice of turkey and two small slices of beef and I mean small. Beans slightly over cooked sweetcorn but undercooked everything else perfect as normal but end of day meal was superb as always and ate the lot and loved it.

Discovered the Hollybush a few months ago and have dined here several times with my wife and also the whole family.
The carvery is excellent quality and value with a great selection of roast meats and vegetables. The gravy is the best we have tasted across many eateries around Cardiff. We love the fact that there are alternative mains in the way of delicious, freshly prepared pizzas and burgers. This means there is something for everyone in our group.
Finally, I have to say all the staff are very friendly and helpful, providing an excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Went here for all you can eat breakfast. Gotta say it was pretty good for a buffet style all you can eat. Food was quite hot. Tasty and filled me up for the rest of the day. I think it was 8.24 with a drink. Not bad at all. Would probably go back

Lovely food. Generous portions. The food was very well presented. My husband had a burger which he said was delicious. I had a pizza which was loaded with cheese and pepperoni. David and Gareth served us. And I have to say the service was excellent.
