A Cardiff institution. Grade II listed building and it's been a pub since the 19th century.
It's an old school pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff (small bar can get very busy though)
Does a great pint of Guinness and decent Sunday lunch
Men's toilets have thankfully had a little refurb, can still get a bit wet under foot though.

The great Queens Vaults, quite a massive chance since I first stepped foot in there over 30 years ago. Still attracts a good crowd, great selection of food & drink at reasonable prices too. A real gem in the City Centre.

Fabulous food sirloin steak like butter, reall chips I had salad with it and my chum had peas absolutely recommend it and will be going there again 😜👍🏼👌

During this short trip to Cardiff we came twice to this lovely place. The first visit was by chance, as we were simply looking for a place where we could just have lunch on a very busy Sunday, with everything completely full. We managed to find a table and drink a perfectly served Guinness along with a delicious cheese and bacon burger. We loved the place so much, that we returned the following day, for a more quiet and relaxed experience. Quite a vast and good selection of beers, very nice staff, great music and perfect vibe! One of my favourite places in Cardiff.
