I come here every week to get some plain and vegan welsh cakes. The variety is amazing and caters for diabetics as well as vegans. They are warm, fresh and such a good value for money! The staff are also incredibly helpful and polite. I would recommend everyone to go and visit them.

Welsh cakes! As a tourist this is an obligated visit when in Cardiff. Located in the Cardiff market, this bakery offers different varieties of pastries including a vast amount of welsh cakes with different flavors! The best part is the Welsh cakes are actually elaborated in front of you! I tried Welsh cakes with jam, white chocolate chips, chocolate chips, salted caramel, and coconut. It was a pleasure to try fresh welsh cakes made right in front of you!
I just LOVED their Welsh cakes!!! My favourite food in the UK. They also have vegan options. Make sure to have them warm. The staff was lovely and patiently explained to me the ingredients.

They also sell a variety of other handmade goodies at reasonable prices. I particular enjoy their traditional Welsh cakes and often buy their diabetic ones for a diabetic family member who loves them too.
There's almost always a small queue of people at this stall - that just shows you how good their good is!

I'm a visitor from the USA and found this place by pure accident as we set about exploring Cardiff. And I must say that if you're area in the area, you must stop by try the Welsh cakes. My favorite flavors was the coconut, and the clotted cream and jam, the latter is not pictured as we had eaten them both before I took the photo. They are not overly sweet like the sweets found in USA, if you're Asian or have eaten Asian bakery foods you'll understand what I mean. Anyway on a whim I tried the Welsh cakes and it think they are delicious, I wish I could buy them locally at home

Was given these by a friend in Cardiff. Never tried them before, was excited to try.
They were absolutely delicious and freshly baked.
The plain ones were perfectly soft and not too sweet at all, great for my dad who can't have sweet things.
The more traditional ones with currants were so nice and exceeded my expectations.
Would definitely like to try their other cakes, when I visit in person.
We bought 10 welsh cakes for only £4'5 and it was the best decision I have ever made. Homemade and delicious. Really nice lad. Loved it. I want to live in Cardiff now so I could enjoy them more regularly.
Incredible bakery - great assortment of cakes and treats and pastries, but to be honest if you're here for anything other than Welshcakes (or at least forego the purchase of them), you're mad.
They are simply incredible. Witness staff making them all in front of you, witness them frying and flipping them in front of you.
Only when you taste them and savour them and eat more than a dozen can you say that you truly have visited Wales.
