Had a fantastic Sunday lunch again. Food was amazing and exceptional service from the staff, Mike was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Had a really delicious meal here on Friday night - loads of choices, including a great specials menu. I had 3 courses which were all fabulous. Service was also excellent with a great choice of drinks. Really nice relaxed atmosphere and the restaurant area is lovely. Many thanks and we will definitely be coming back more often!

It's my local pub, the staff are amazing (especially Joyce and Mike), the food is amazing and the menus are always changing with new specials every week. During the colder months there's a lovely open fire going during all opening hours, can't get a better country pub than this!

Had a meal in the restaurant this evening, can't fault food, it was stunning. However, service was a little slow. The waitresses we had was fantastic and couldn't have worked harder but there were consistently 2 or 3 other members of staff hanging around the side of the bar who could have been helping to speed things up. We would definitely visit again though as food was really good.

Had a lovely meal at the Ty'r Winch this evening. We tried out a number of the new summer menu additions. The bbq burnt ends starter was delicious followed by the draymans lunch. The homemade scotch egg was runny and tasty, with the lovely creamy cheese and trimmings it was lovely. Finished off with the Lemon cello panacotta, creamy zesty and proper tasty. I highly recommend the new summer menu items.

Recently held our wedding reception and evening party at the beautiful Ty'r Winch Pub and Guest House. Lorna and her team were fantastic with the planning and arrangements and ensured our day ran smoothly.
The food was outstanding, staff were extremely friendly and the DJ had all our guests dancing right through the night.

Lorna and Andrew were incredible hosts.. Their guesthouse is stunning and of very high-quality! We were concerned being next to a pub that it would be loud at night, but it was not at all :) Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back to stay again!!

Went there for a meal tonight with the folks. All had 3 courses and it was absolutely faultless! If there I'd recommend the scotch egg as a starter for sure! Diverse menu, good choice of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic and all top quality. Service was incredible! Mike and his team are all fab and they're all passionate about their roles.

We’ve had evening meal and lunch on a few occasions. So much thought goes into providing a local yet diverse menu. The food is fantastic quality and homemade due to the condiments. The service is genuinely warm and welcoming. There are some great themed event nights with food and wine .

Enjoyed every moment at this wonderful pub! The staff are so welcoming and really good at what they do. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calm, cosy and just overall lovely. Prices were extremely reasonable too. I can’t believe we have lived in Cardiff for 5 years and never heard of this pub!! We will come back!
