My recent stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. This charming guest house exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was swift and efficient, and I received all the necess
We went on a Sunday for lunch. I don't like Sunday lunch and none of rest of the menu appealed. So I had the soup. Carrot and coriander. For me, not enough taste until I added salt and pepper. My partner had the Lamb dinner and enjoyed it very much. Lovely staff and quick service
A great place to stay in their Guesthouse on the outskirts of Cardiff. Friendly staff. Clean and modern. Highly recommended. Great pub food too. Local shop, 4 pubs and a chip shop opposite. A bus route (30) to Cardiff and back. Perfect for every age.
We had an excellent meal here this evening. The menu is quite extensive offering a range of cooked meals and salads, meat and vegetarian as well as evening dedicated evenings to other national foods . The food is not pretentious but we'll cooked, full of flavour and sensible helpings The starters
Visited the Ty'r Winch for a birthday meal with wife and friends. Have to say the food was absolutely out of this world. Portions were plenty, flavours were amazing and it was top notch. I've had the pleasure of eating in fancy restaurants before but the food here was well above many of those establ
First time visiting & definitely will be returning. My husband looked at the menu & couldn’t see a starter he liked so we messaged ahead & asked if they had anything else. They offered chicken goujons which weren’t on the menu but they went out of their way to accommodate which we hugely appreciated
We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved everything about Ty’r Winch. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the overall space feels modern and updated but cozy. The food at the restaurant is so delicious we ended up eating here both nights. Duck, sea bas

Fish basket was ok, garlic mushrooms nice. 10oz steak is amazing, better than Merdria in the city center. Chicken Heliwr is very good as well, as was the salad, REALLY fresh, side order of coleslaw really good. Also great back ground music 🎶.
