Great little place - doesn't look much on rhe outside or inside but offers very good value, tasty, authentic Malay food.

Parking right outside the takeaway . Halal . Friendly staff and good prices . 2 minutes away from cardiff stadium . Will go back and eat there again as i feel like i didn’t have a comprehensive experience with just ordering a pad Thai so will update in the future . lunch time offers available . Eat in or takeout available.

Proper Malaysian flavours. Some friends, on holiday in Penang, posted pictures of the Char Kway Teow they were eating. That made us want some CKT for ourselves. We found this place, not having got food from there before and we were not at all disappointed. We had delicious Kway Teow that tasted just the same as we had on our previous visits to Malaysia. Recommended!

Nasi lemak tastes really good - a little more coconut milk would make it even better! Affordable place for good Malaysian food

The noodles here are absolutely sublime. Bursting with flavour and aroma that is just out of this world. With a quick turn around time you can put in your order and wait to collect….However, whatever you do, just don't opt in to sit in... it will spoil your dining experience. The staff are not the best when it comes to customer service and for the most part are spread too thin to attend to you . Fix up your service and i would rate wokker shaker 6/5.

Just across the road from my new place, easy to find and what a great menu! All cooked in front of you which adds to the anticipation. Really good value for money, spicy and full of flavour. Don't expect fancy interiors just expect good food at realistic prices. Born and bred in Riverside for 55 years I grew up with many new flavours, different foods, culture and an eclectic mix of people. I look out of my window and there it is, so my go too for quick but wholesome meal. Well recommend 🍴👍 Ps I live at 7a so expect quite a few visits 🍽️

Eaten from Wokker Shaker so many times & food is always on point. Never a long wait & always tastes fantastic. You got to try their crispy chicken - so damn good!!!! Hands down the best Malaysian food in Cardiff

Best noodles ever. Quick service and the staff, chef and owners as so wonderful. Best people ever. And the food is just amazingly tasty. Plenty of options and at really good prices 4 pound a box and 5 pound with a drink.

The best place for Malaysian food in Cardiff, and I used to travel a good distance to get my fix! The menu is quite simple and self-explanatory, and you can't go wrong with a Nasi lemak, and some extra Crispy chicken on the side. However, since the passing of the owner, the food was not as great as it used to be as I was a bit disappointed with the Chicken noodles I got last time. Nonetheless, there are few Malaysian restaurants in Cardiff, and Wokker Shaker still holds its place as #1 in Cardiff!

Great budget food and fast for this type of food. Everything cooked to order in front of you. They are constantly busy because they are so good but it never takes long to get your food. Has seating for about 10 to 12. Accepts card payments. No toilet which would be fine if it was just a takeaway but as it has an eat-in area the lack of toilet was disappointing. Nearest toilet was in the train station. I've given it 5 stars as a takeaway but 4 stars as a place to eat-in.

I went there Monday (2nd Sep) afternoon (as I had business in that part of city) 3.20pm for the first time ever and had a togo option - egg noodles, chicken & sizzler (mild). I have been to Malaysia 6 times and I have to say this lunch was not only excellent value (£4 with a can as lunch special) This dish was really tasty. The service was excellent by the two staff there - Thank you. I shall go back and next time I shall buy two of these meals, one to eat and one to take back to put in the fridge to have later. I may have the 2nd meal with a 'medium sizzler sauce'.
