It's the best Sunday roast I've ever had.. I went for the slow cooked pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious.. the meat was simply just melting in my mouth, the crackling was crispy, the Yorkshire pudding, potatoes, and vegetables were as good as you could expect from a proper restaurant. No co
One thing that lives rent free in my head was the scene in one of the episodes in ‘Come Dine with Me’, where the host fully shoves the entire whisk in his mouth, sucking the chocolate out of it. Then used that said whisk to continue mixing the batter. I will never go for a meal in that contestant’s
Lovely beer garden and a varied menu. This place is hidden in the heart of St Fagans and is worth a visit, especially on a summer's day. The garden is lovely, with plenty of space, and the food and drink menu has something to offer for everyone . We got away without booking a table, but I can imag
Nice little pub/restaurant in historic surroundings on the outskirts of Cardiff, varied menu , huge beer garden, dog friendly too , first visit here and decided on the foresti're chicken breast, was baked in a small pan and covered in streaky bacon , wild mushrooms in a garlic sauce with skin on
The food was decent and not worth the price. The puddings were good though the crumble was burnt on top. It was busy when we went so it might explain a few things. The young lad who served us didn't seem to be trying and didn't look too happy. The table we sat at was in the corner in a small room it

Had a delicious burger and chicken skewer. I had not booked but the staff were friendly and very helpful. Well worth a visit x
Good food but poor service. Ordered our second drink from the bar ourselves as wait was so long. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins as dessert brought out without any. Went to get menus ourselves as asked for them for desserts never arrived.
So this was our second visit - this time to enjoy a Sunday roast. She had the vegetarian option which was a candied roast consisting of rice, beetroot and seeds. I had the pork belly. Both dishes came with a generous medley of roasted and steamed vegetables. Despite the large plates of food I thoug
Have been to the Plymouth Arms many times over the years. Unfortunately it has become a victim of the "let's update" brigade, and has lost it's charm. Now looks like every other pub, grey wood panels and pointless art. Super busy day, very hot and sunny and sat outside. Queued for ages indoors waiti
A wonderful afternoon spent at The Plymouth Arms. Thoroughly recommended. The service from Sue was excellent and the food delicious. Great atmosphere too.
