The staff are very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The service was excellent, especially given there were seven of us. The pie I had was very good, though the accompanying vegetables were overcooked. The burgers were very good and everyone enjoyed the desserts. Good place for families to get

Good food but poor service. Ordered our second drink from the bar ourselves as wait was so long. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins as dessert brought out without any. Went to get menus ourselves as asked for them for desserts never arrived.

Have been to the Plymouth Arms many times over the years. Unfortunately it has become a victim of the "let's update" brigade, and has lost it's charm. Now looks like every other pub, grey wood panels and pointless art.
