The front of house staff!!! Never been to a spoons with such amazing staff. Always quick and ALWAYS have smiles on their faces.
We had a problem and had to get a refund, the staff were fantastic
Manager was so helpful and the tall man who served us was so polite and kind.

Lovely friendly staff. Clean well equipped toilets.
Pleasant decor, great outside seating areas on roadside and out back. Busy, great atmosphere, just needs a bit quicker table clearing .

It's good for taking a beer, relaxing with your friends, family, alone or your couple, there is calm and far away and not noisy. Waiters are very pleasant and friendly. I recommend it to you.
Food was ok, warm not hot and the place was so busy but ok, you get what you get in a Wetherspoons and the meal and drinks were reasonable all the same. I will use again but maybe midweek if its quieter.
Friendly wetherspoons on the edge of town. Usual wetherspoons quality and value, good staff. Door staff checking I.D.. Usual good value Spoons food on offer here. Plenty of tables inside and extra upstairs plus outside seats front and back. Enjoy 👍🏼
Popped in with my young son, ordered 2 drinks and a portion of nachos. Place was really busy so bit of a wait for the drinks but the staff kept popping over to apologies. Kitchen staff bought the nachos out and apologised again for the wait, can't be helped when they're that busy. Nice sized portion, well presented, plenty of sauces but had clearly been left under the heat lamps during the busy spell as the nachos had basically baked in to one giant, stale crisp that was baked on to the bowl. Great service, price and presentation but the food was a total let down.
Visited last weekend for a full breakfast & hot chocolate. Well worth the money. Helpful staff x Would recommend x

Well its a Spoons so you know what to expect I guess.
Good central location and always pretty busy.
Usual Spoons menu and food usually arrives fast.
Last visit I sat upstairs and ordered via the app. Food arrived very quickly but as I ordered an ale both my partner and myself has finished food before the drinks arrived. Was told as the ales were downstairs they had to wait for mine to be brought up. 30 minutes to walk a pint up some stairs seemed a long time mind.
Moral of the story.... If you want a guest ale sit downstairs
