If you like your cafe old school: fresh food served piping like your nana used to make, then you're not going to be disappointed. Great range of food and a fab breakfast.
Great food and fabulous service from George and his staff. Always a pleasure to back to a cafe I visited for the 1st time 45 years ago. George has renovated the complete building and it looks great. Well done.
Food was piping hot and at a reasonable price.The place was clean and tidy as was the cutlery. My only criticism is they do not have any gluten free bread or rolls.
It was quiet at 7:30 in the morning but the food was hot and good value

Changed quite a bit over time...they've redecorated & then after COVID, as with most other places, the price has gone up & the amount of food you get has gone down.
I used to be really full with the amount of food in the Mega breakfast but now, it's almost half the size, is about satisfactory & costs an extra £1.50.
To be honest there are better places, but further away from me...I will now be looking for a different café to have my breakfast.
Breakfast , toast and tea for £5.50. What more do you want. Owner is a wonderful character. Cracking cheap eat
