Just had an amazing Mother's Day Lunch. There were 8 of us and the restaurant was really busy but we were served straight away. The food was perfect and the staff really friendly. We had starters so they brought the kids main meal at the same time as our 1st courses. Thank you Ffynon Wen for a lovely day
Called in here today for Sunday lunch, had a lovely greeting as we arrived inside and was shown to a table , our waitress was very attentive and had a lovely manner and very friendly, she took our order for food and drinks and asked if we were ok with our meals, the Sunday roast was beautiful and I must say the amount of meat we were given was the most I've seen on a Sunday roast , the lady we were served by was quite short with different colors in her hair and very lovely , we were also asked by a lovely young lad with glasses if all was ok , I'd defiantly go back if all the staff are like this, we did have a minor problem with the bill at the end as the young girl didn't seem to know what she was doing but the waitress sorted this out for us, lovely food and lovely staff
A nice dining experience. The food was lovely. I had Southern fried Hunters chicken and it was delicious. Service was good. Staff were polite. I think they forgot our dessert but it arrived quickly when we reminded them. Decent prices No issues. Will definitely go again. Not happy with dogs being allowed in the eating area due to allergies.
Busy, busy pub but hey managed to squeeze 2 of us in for food. Lovely friendly staff, speedy helpful service, lush food, definately go back.
Fabulous place, meal was outstanding. Service was fantastic, and staff were friendly, polite, and quick. Will definitely be back soon. Second visit and the food was better than last time.
From the time we walked into the pub to the time we left, the staff couldn't have been friendlier..we has 2 children with us and the staff were lovely with them.
The food came promptly and it was hot and really tasty.
We couldn't believe how reasonable the bill was for 6 of us.
Very enjoyable experience and will definitely go back and recommend yo others.

Wonderful pub. Amazing help with our large birthday bookings, excellent food had by all 12 of us and wonderful prompt service.
We were also here back in August for another special birthday. Nothing too much trouble and even had alcohol free gin for my elderly mum. Very caring staff. Recommend it highly here and will return many times.

What a lovely place. My wife took me here as a late birthday present. The staff were so polite and friendly and catered to our every need. We had a lovely table in a small room as you came into the lounge. Also the food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be going back there in the near future.
We booked a baby shower there and it was so, so lovely. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. They moved our large group from upstairs to the back room as it was such a hot day which I thought was really kind especially as it was a baby shower. They were fantastic with the orders and everything ran perfectly smoothly. The food was delicious and the entire day was made perfect by the lack of stress and understanding from the staff even with 9 kids. I can't recommend it enough and will be booking the next decade of occasions with you.
Always a warm welcome from Sam. Staff are very friendly and always helpful with recommendations. Kelly is a credit to the company, very friendly and always ready to help or get extra drinks and food. The food is always cooked as requested and served quickly. Food is excellent and would highly recommend anything from the menu. Overall a great place to eat or just relax with drinks. Staff and management are a credit to the company and run the place brilliantly. Would highly recommend this pub to everyone.
The team were very accommodating of our group booking (22) & very respectful with their condolences following our aunties funeral.
When we did initial visit Glynn was brilliant & explained packages etc so we could make an informed decision.
We went with cooked meals for everyone & all were delivered quickly & professionally. We were aware that the kitchen had some challenges that day but not until we were leaving & it didn’t affect the customer service. Thank you all for making a difficult time almost pleasurable.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a lovely chap who showed us to our table. Drinks and food were very quick and everyone was so friendly. The steak was absolutely amazing and the puddings just as good as always. Can't wait to come back 🙂
