Food was lovely as it always is but the stand out from our visit was our waitress Caitlyn! I've worked in food retail all my life so I can easily tell you that this young lady is an amazing asset to your team!! She was very warm and welcoming.. very personable. She knows her role inside and out. One of the party is dairy free and in all the years we've visited Toby restaurants we never knew that the cauliflower sauce is vegan and that you use vegan butter if it's going in the mash or on the veg💜 this was one of the best meals out and would definitely be back. This young lady definitely needs some recognition for her customer service. A massive gold star from us⭐
We were greeted and seated quite promptly on arrival (although we had booked prior to arrival) sometimes it does take a while to be greeted. Our server Charlie was lovely and friendly, she saw to our drinks quite quickly and we could go up and have our food. Queue for carvery was not too long so that was nice also. The only disappointment was we thought we didn't get served as much meat as usual, the roast potatoes were awful, not cooked well enough and really hard. There was no potato dauphinous and not as much selection of vegetables although we thought the peas were delicious, cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
Friendly staff - lovely table service by Della: very efficient, friendly and polite. Food was excellent - we had carveries, the meat was just melt in the mouth with a fantastic selection of veg. Kitchen staff had a sense of humour, worked diligently with due care, speed and great consideration paid to customers and keeping everything clean. Had a lovely meal at the Toby today. It was incredibly busy (with the half marathon having happened earlier in the day and lots of hungry runners needing to refuel!) but the staff were amazing at making sure everyone was looked after.
Our server Charley was amazing even though she was rushed off her feet.

Toby Whitchurch is our favourite Carvery. It is brilliantly organised and managed. All staff are well trained and so very nice you just want to return again. Kitchen and waiting staff do a great job. The food is plentiful and vegetables are freshly cooked with the largest Yorkshire's I have ever seen. Keep up the good work
A busy serving time at 5:30pm Thursday, but the team coped well and the food was replenished quickly! Generous meat portions, all good especially our server Della, who worked quickly and was very pleasant!

Lovely atmosphere and delicious good, we went for a carvery and every single bite was perfect. The staff are very helpful and there was no queue. Generous portions as well, the kids keep asking if we can go back. Will defo be making this a regular.
Had a lovely lunch at the Toby Carvery Whitchurch. Our server Charley was very helpful with finding us a good seat, going through our dietary requirements (gluten free and dairy free available) and recommendations for puddings/drinks. Food was lovely, hot and fresh. Clean and tidy dining room and toilets. Lots of parking. And we benefited from the Meerkat Meals promotion. Thank you everyone at Whitchurch Toby!

Went for 4.30 booking but couldn't get onto table until 5.30. No problem as we had drink and chat outside until called. Everything fab , staff, food table etc. Only downside was the queue for the carvery. Took an absolute age to get to the front , worth it when we got there but all said never again on a Sunday.
