Costa Coffee - Roath

I was here 30th April and came here as my friend was running late and I needed a place to wait as I was feeling unwell. I bought a large latte but a member of staff ( Donna) recognised I was ill and brought me water and checked in on me. I recently was hospitalised for covid induced pneumonia and have since been struggling with breathing problems and low blood pressure. Donna thank you so much for your care and kindness .

Being a bit of a Costa fan I visit many various outlets. On this occasion I have to highly commend this store and its staff led by Tom and assisted by James, Rob and Brian for their excellent customer service and interaction. They communicate with their customers as if they are friends rather than customers. As soon as I walked in today James instantly remembered what I had last time! There is no corporate type chat just good old down to earth genuine chat, oh and excellent coffee of course! Well done guys.

10/10 would recommend this Costa Coffee store on Albany Road. The workers (including the lovely young female and male behind the counter and the store manager Thomas) dealt with an issue I had very professionally - I can only praise, commend and admire the way the way they had communicated with me today in the store. Collectively, they had provided me with a clear and coherent explanation for the issue, apologised and made me feel very valued as a customer. Phenomenal customer service, well done to the team working today on 09/06/2021 - extremely impressed and will be recommending this store to family, friends and other Cardiff University students in the area. The staff were fantastic, very friendly. Love the fact that they have a book swap table. You can take a book off the table home as long as you leave a book in its place. When asked why they do this, the chappie told me that it's to get people away from their mobile phones, and give them something else to do instead of looking at the phones all the time. Oh yeah, coffee was quite possibly the best I've had for a long time!
