Steakout is our family favourite and never fails to disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. My favourite is the loaded fries. Service was excellent and great singing from the guys who brought out my children’s birthday cake! Thank you! Highly recommend 👌🏽
We were all considering moving to Wales after coming here just to come back to this place often😂. Very considerate to personal needs and going the extra mile without request. Either we have awful service where we’re from or the servers here were just extremely polite. 10/10 👍🏻

Brilliant experience and best first impressions at this place. Staff were friendly and the place was exceptionally clean considering we went as a party of 8 on a Saturday night. If I'm ever in Cardiff again I would definitely go again
The food was nice and very fairly priced. Our groups personal favourites were the dirty Fries for 5.45. The burgers were amazing and for an extra £2 you can get a cheesy drop extra. The only downside was the cut of steaks. Some were really good but a few of our group got alot of fat on the streak. All food is halal, sadly not vegan/dairy-free
As for drinks, very fairly priced again, no alcohol as again its halal but they do include mocktail mohitos! Very nice.
Between a group of 8 our total came to £212 so just around £30ish each. Not too bad for a good few hours of laughs and dining

Lovely Steakout restaurant. Very modern with lots of space for families and couples. The seating area for us five was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive & friendly and allowed us to chat before we decided what to eat even though we took time to order. Starters of chops, prawns and chicken cheeseball were very tasty and fresh. Drinks for fizzy and mocktails came very quickly and presented well. We order a range of steak from rib eye sizzler, sirloin steak, chicken loaded meat and chicken cheese meal. The food was beautifully presented, hot, fresh and tasty. The steaks were cooked right and weren’t overcooked or rubbery and seasoned well. The sides were also tasty and fresh. All of us enjoyed the food considering we all had empty plates at the end. We didn’t feel rushed and plates etc were tidying up very quickly. The price of the sides, steak meals and drinks were very reasonable as everything was cooked just right and too the request of the customer. Again big thanks to Mizan bhai from Cardiff for your hospitality!!
Food was delicious and very tasty. Even my little one enjoyed her meal. We'll definitely come back. Drinks were amazing too, top spot to go for good food.

My daughter recommended this restaurant as she had been there before but was mine & my family's first time & certainly won't be the last. Great service, polite & friendly staff, food was served within 15-20 minutes & it was all piping hot & still sizzling when it came to the table, all delicious & tasty food, no complaints from anyone. I had the butterfly chicken which came with rice, chips, a selection of veg & a gravy pot. A big portion but I managed to eat it all! Only downside to eating out here is the lack of vegetarian foods available on the menu. My daughter is a vegetarian & the only choice she had was a vegetarian burger & a few side dishes of mozerella sticks & spicy cheese balls. She had the spicy cheese balls & all of her food was delicious. She enjoyed the burger & ate it all. The spicy cheese balls were bigger than we all thought & were quite spicy but not too hot. The drinks were delicious too. Four of us had the Mocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails as the restaurant is run by Muslims. I had a mango one & it was delicious. It came in a big glass with lime, mint & ice & was lovely & refreshing. My partner had the T-bone steak & said it was the best steak he's ever had (& he's eaten a lot of steaks out as he's a meat eater). It just fell off the bone. The steak only came with chips, no other usual sides such as onion rings, mushrooms etc. No desserts available on the menu which may be a let down for anyone wanting a dessert after their meal but we were having cake when we got home so it wasn't a problem for us. It was very busy with every table full by the time we left so would recommend booking a table if there's more than two people eating. Parking is problematic along City Road so leave time to find a parking space when you arrive. Highly recommend Steak Out for an enjoyable place to eat out for delicious, flavoursome food & drinks. Price wise, for our party of five the bill came to £103 which included drinks.
Simply the best steak in town by a mile, I tried everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong in any of them.
Visited this place on Saturday and I don't know what to rave about more, the fantastic staff or the amazing food! They were so courteous and attentive, especially catering to our religious needs, it felt like a treat being served by such wonderful servers. And the food was a completely new experience for me, halal macaroni and beef burger? AMAZING taste and best strawberry shake I've had yet. Can't recommend enough 💯
Not really much of an meat eater as gets put off by some stuff but thought I would give this place a go. I'm so glad I did! It's changed me and I now love steak! It was so tender and cooked exactly how I wanted it. No fat!! And absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. This is definitely a place to go back to. We loved it! There's lamb, beef and also chicken there and it's Halal.
