Nice quiet bar in middle of Cardiff. 10pm on a Saturday and was not heaving. Nice change for a city centre bar

I can’t fault Yates it’s a good value for money restaurant. I work close by and they have good deals on at lunch. I’ve had the smothered chicken and the bbq chicken wrap both were good and decent portions

This place actually saved our game day... Our 1st attempt for lunch fell through... Which pretty much dampened our mood (everywhere was packed).. we were about to give up on lunch.
Chance would have it.. we came on the the Yates!

Popped in yesterday for a quick bite to eat before the theatre. Fast and friendly service and food was great. Nice atmosphere in there. Will be back next time I see a show

Dropped in with our daughter on saturday the27 th jan
And enjoyed a very well cooked meal service so good and atmosphere was buzzing ( I since understand people were having a drink before going to local theatre
