We both had fantastic meals, I had burger and the Mrs had Fish and chips, (and onion rings), staff were friendly atmosphere was relaxed, short walk from the campsite where we were staying, will definitely return on our next visit.

The staff were very good as I booked initially for 7pm and they kept the table for us until for when we eventually arrived: 8pm! The home brewed beer was very nice and good to see that you do that. The staff were attentiveand when a mistake was made were quick to amend.

Beer good as usual. I understand that it is the place nearest the coach station and travelers maybe aren't welcome. But please don't have the doorman asking what is inside the suitcase as that could be rude.I took it as humorous moment but in future please just to yes or no. :)

We had our company Christmas Do here this past weekend. The staff were really helpful and welcoming, with great communication to ensure we had a great time. There were 41 in our party and they gave us our own private space which was fantastic. The food was excellent and the service was efficient. Everyone I have spoken with from the event has shared in this feeling and would gladly visit again next year. Thank you :)

Had sunday lunch yesterday. Food was good. Prawn starter. Enjoyed but seemed a bit overpriced for £7 for 4 prawns.
Enjoyed the main and good to see a excellent variety of vegetables.
Only disappointment with the service was I went and asked one of the servers for a pint to our table. She directed me to the bar even though I was clearly eating in restaurant. This pint was added to my bill as requested but then I go and have a service charge for a pint I had to wait at the bar and fetch myself. Also had to ask for the bill repeatedly.
Apart from that all good and would return in future.

Rick and his team looked after us for our Christmas party and the service was impeccable. We were given heaters, blankets and hot water bottles for the pretty outside area we’d reserved. Despite the raging weather outside we were warm, safe and had a wonderful time. Thanks Rick and team. We had the best evening!

Had an Xmas 3 course meal on 2nd Dec for a party of 2. Overall it was a very lovely evening. Great atmosphere and service, but the main course wasn't served very hot, and was lacking taste/quality which I have no doubt if I would have asked, the staff would have remedied. But this is why I rated food down. The outdoor seating with the fires and heaters were perfect, there was offers of hot water bottles and blankets also!...this made up for the main course not quite being up to expectations. I already plan to go back!

This was our first visit to Cardiff and the Brewhouse. Our waitress was helpful and patient. Our beers and spirits were great. Our dishes (we ordered 7) were all delicious.

Stopped off for a pit stop. Haven't been here for years. I think it used to be called something else. My brother treated me to a meal, and my 10oz steak was beautifully succulent, tender, and moist.
I highly recommend this establishment for good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating.
