The food was tasty and you can go back for as many helpings as you like. Unlimited soft drinks and dessert included in the price makes this really good value for money. We enjoyed our lunch there today.

Best place for Indian cuisine. Wonderful treatment by Upkriti. No compromise in buffet menu(best taste wise). Variety of dishes at-least 30-40 different items in menu. Reasonable desserts. Unlimited fillings for drinks.

This young lady named Upkriti gave us a brilliant service today. We are somewhat regulars to this restaurant and the food is always nice but this was the first time that a staff member interacted with us. 5 stars to Upkriti she was so welcoming and friendly. My son loved her, she was just so kind and patient with him and he asked me if we can go to spice route again just because of Upkriti. Give the girl a raise she made it a memorable experience.

A massive thankyou to all the staff at this restaurant, for making my husband's 50th birthday so perfect, my husband and our family were welcomed by all the staff, above and beyond service, food was out of this world delicious, will 100% be visiting here again. Been two years in a row for my husband's birthday, on a Monday in December. Both times it has been empty.
The food has been brilliant both times. Naans cooked fresh to order and are yummy. There was a good variety of curries available, especially given it was a Monday lunch - highly recommend the chicken makhani! Good mix of sides including some Indian and some English (and some elsewhere) so kids would have a range of options if they don't like curry.

You will not be disappointed when visiting the Spice Route. The made to order fresh naan bread is great and the curries are made from scratch following their original recipes. The chef is friendly and always on hand should you need anything. Overall a great experience and one of the best places to eat at in the Cardiff Bay area.

Went to this place with my friends. Loved the food. The price for the buffet is affordable. If you're a student you get a discount here as well. The service and hospitality was amazing. If you're planning to go on weekends try going early or book it. As it is crowded sometimes. I went several times to this place, never disappointed me. I'm really enjoying and loving the food here. Fills up my cravings for Indian food. This place is not bad, Instead of recommending someone I would choose to go with them😋. Will visit again.

First visit in a long while. Front of house was welcoming with a warm smile. Allowed us to find our own seat and explained the buffet. There aren't many selections compared to JCR or others, however it's also £3 cheaper. The food is mainly Indian and some live wok cooking with veg, beef, prawns and chicken options. 4 star for cleanliness, friendliness and pricing.

Proper madras Indian food,my mother in law who born in India said that. It wasn’t surprised me with less variety and only chicken but taste is really good and making fresh food in front of you is credit. Eventually, I am really enjoy it. Thanks for making me proper Indian food.
