It was our daughter Sara's 21st birthday yesterday, the waiter was excellent they produced balloons and we took a small cake which they brought to the table, at the end of our meal which they lit the sparkler. The food was good too. Xxxx
I love the place. Good, very good food. Wonderful to have the eating area next to the playpark for kids.
Oh and the coffee and cream cheese cake...devine
Went to this place with my friends. Loved the food. The price for the buffet is affordable. If you're a student you get a discount here as well. The service and hospitality was amazing. If you're planning to go on weekends try going early or book it. As it is crowded sometimes. I went several times to this place, never disappointed me. I'm really enjoying and loving the food here. Fills up my cravings for Indian food. This place is not bad, Instead of recommending someone I would choose to go with them😋. Will visit again.
First visit in a long while. Front of house was welcoming with a warm smile. Allowed us to find our own seat and explained the buffet. There aren't many selections compared to JCR or others, however it's also £3 cheaper. The food is mainly Indian and some live wok cooking with veg, beef, prawns and chicken options. 4 star for cleanliness, friendliness and pricing.
Proper madras Indian food,my mother in law who born in India said that. It wasn’t surprised me with less variety and only chicken but taste is really good and making fresh food in front of you is credit. Eventually, I am really enjoy it. Thanks for making me proper Indian food.

I was working close by to Spice Route for two weeks, and ate there every day! The food was always hot, with a huge selection. Some of my favourites; Onion Bhaji, Panner Makhani, Chicken Biryani, Rice Pudding and the Gulab Jamun. They make fresh food, including Stir fried Noodles and really tasty Masala Dosas!
Live the buffet dynamic. The food was kept fresh and a great selection..service was with a smile.
A lovely buffet with friendly staff and a good variety of good. Great for those who want a true taste of India especially as they have genuine street food, (bhel Puri and dosa's).
I haven't been here for many years but, the naan was awesome, freshly cooked in the tandoor. Plenty of dishes to choose from as well as plenty of desserts.
Lovely restaurant, went for valentines day and it was one of the only places to look the part, had an initial small issue but speaking to the manager he was more than happy to help us. Was very sincere and helpful, will definitely be recommending to a friend, food was lovely, fresh and varied , can tell they put effort into every dish, with additional fresh food on request!! (small note if you do get cold easily just ask to be placed further in the restaurant on arrival : ) ) will come again thanks for a lovely special evening !!

Been here several times now and although i always enjoyed it, yesterdays visit was the best yet.
As we arrived, i could see there was a member of waiting staff checking food that was already displayed on the serving counter. The lady at the bar greeted us with a big smile, and seated us straight away and got our drinks. It was very quiet upon our arrival, but this changed very quickly and soon it was filling up with hungry customers. There was a good feel to the place, with two table waiting staff taking drinks orders and clearing your plates as you finish. (This is a definite improvement)
Food has also improved. I am unsure how to put my finger on how, because we always enjoyed, but the quality is just better now. There wasn't anything I ate that I didn't enjoy, and I always find a few things that I don't like. The chef for the live cooking station was in the kitchen out the back when we arrived, but that is to be expected if we were only the second customers to be seated, but a member of staff did get him and he greeted us and took our orders. Great food, for the price paid.
We are already returning customers, but we will now be recommending Spice Route to others.
Went for a buffet dinner, was longing to have an authentic Indian taste Restaurant where we can eat vegetarian dishes . Surprisingly food were so nice, spicy, yummy🤤. Have to mention about (THE CHEF) who was smiling (COMMENDABLE) while serving so amazing naan, dosa and (noodle which we found so tasty) at the live counter . Have given⭐ 4 stars as they can improve on customer service a bit, starters can be more warmer (because we found it cold) and also can add more options for vegetarians .
But taste wise we are very very happy. Chaat was tasty too.

There were many options on non vegetarian dishes , sorry no review for non vegetarian dishes but looked really good.
