The Four Elms - Cardiff - Photo album

This is a pretty big place, with multiple areas to choose from - there's a cozy area by the bar, an open and a closed one skirting the beer garden, and the beer garden itself. The food served is surprisingly good and the on-tap drinks options uncommonly varied. Four Elms seems to be mainly frequen
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s probably one of the best pubs I’ve ever been in. Fantastic variety and selection of drinks, friendly staff and such a large pub, with a lot of large screens to watch football, variety of seating area both inside and outside. I didn’t get any food but
Great local Camra pub which has good range of lagers, beers and ciders amongst other things. Good pub grub too, including a good value Sunday carvery. Pub has lots of tvs for watching sport plus a fab beer garden.
What a hidden gem…got to be one of the best kept secrets in Cardiff! Staff and manager were super-helpful, chatty and friendly, always a bonus. Range of beers on draft was brilliant, from ales to lagers, with Shipyard APA on tap the night I was there…nice :) Food is classic pub grub, massive portion
Voodoo Ranger hazy IPA to accompany the blisteringly hot Voodoo Ranger Burger. So hot, the barman makes certain that you read the menu warning and checks that you really, really want to order it! Friendly pub but not so great for parking for an out of towner.
We visited this pub for the first time for lunch on a Friday as our daughter had moved to Cardiff recently. It was quite popular. The menu selection was varied. We chose a burger, and bangers and mash, and both were excellent. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was too. Will definitely be back
Welcomed by charming and well informed barstaff. Unable to comment on food as I only popped in for a quick pint Excellent selection of beers Served well, orange in blue moon etc.
We went for lunch on a sunny autumn day and the beer garden is awesome. The service was good and safe. There is a great selection of beers and ciders. We ate burger, too dry for our taste but the chips were good.
A pub that doesn’t get half the love it should. Massive outdoor seating area, solid selection of beer, some proper dirty (in the right way) food that goes perfect with a few beers. Bar staff are always a laugh. Manages to feel like a proper pub without the outsider feel.
Great proper Cardiff pub! The Four Elms is a classic Cardiff pub with a friendly atmosphere, suitable for all drinking generations. The inside of the pub has a classic ‘old boy’ feel where you have great viewing access to screens to watch the sport, and towards the rear of the pub, in the old skittl
Enjoyed it here. Has quite a good selection of beers, ciders, and lagers, very friendly staff and customers and prices are reasonable, food looked good,I would recommend it if you not been before, will definitely be back 😀
Top food in here! Always a good burger 👌🏼👌🏼
This bar has really elite beer place mats at the bar and I really want some of them myself. It also serves a “nice” pint of Guiness. This is really a fantastic compliment because most of the Guiness I have tried throughout many pubs of Cardiff tastes like someone’s armpit
First time here. Lovely food, staff are very friendly and lovely, great space and awesome beer garden. They are also dog friendly which is fantastic for me. Would highly recommend
If J.W.Bassett did pubs they’d be the best pubs in the world. This is easily the best pub in Cardiff. Great drinks selection, top notch food and a great beer garden. The landlord and staff are fantastic, they are the reason we have been going back for years. On bank holidays, rugby days etc. expect
Always such a lovely atmosphere in this local! Great food and amazing beer garden. Gareth & his staff always make people feel welcomed so if you’re looking for a decent pub with a great selection on tap, hearty pub grub then The Four Elms is where it’s at.
Food was ok. Staff are friendly. Lovely beer garden. Great music if you like rock/metal/alternative
Great big pub with an almost equally large garden. Top notch staff and a great pint. Highly recommend.
