Against all odds Jack Russell's opened... Absolutely fantastic atmosphere here, its a nice spot to sit early evening in front of the beautiful fire with friends and later turns into the best night spot in the village!! Having spent time in real Irish pubs this one is up there, authentic Irish gins and whiskeys are on offer with Irish music playing on. The bar and door staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming! you get that warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Great work jack Russell's.

4 and a half stars, had Sunday lunch, first time visitor. Two mega slices of beef, like two thin steaks, well cooked and extremely tender. Nice veg although slightly too al dente, good gravy and they provided an extra little jug, the meat could have kept a lumberjack going for a week, treemendous. Surprised how quiet it was, staff nice and attentive. I guess the price was the reason it was quiet although looking at the nearby Plough prices there wasn't much difference.
