North Star

Me and my family have become locals of this fantastic Pub. With the outstanding Sunday dinners; I don't know what they do with the parsnips but they are absolutely lush. I hate hate hate parsnips but I find myself coming here just for them lol 😂. And the pork? About the length of a 10 year old's arm! So good with the crackalin the hole way over, with the nicest tast of salt bliss. You would thing there's amazing meals would be quite expensive, but think again because a pork meal at only £10.5! With also a good gluten free meals! And on top of all that with kids meals and Desserts. The staff are always happy and friendly, and the entertainment is always great! That it why I come here so oftern and rate it a : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. (And not to mention the pool table, Sunday Karaoke and ping pong table! )

We recently visited for Sunday lunch, all the menu had lots of great gluten free and vegetarian options. The food was really well cooked and wasn't over priced. We'll definitely be going again. NB: Also great for those that eat meat, I had the 3 meat feast with beef, chicken and belly pork. It was possibly the best Sunday dinner I've had in Cardiff.

Couldn’t recommend the North Star enough. There’s always a good selection of entertainment through the week, inc a pub quiz or cabaret. The Sunday lunch is always excellent quality and great value. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and make a real effort to engage with you whilst you’re there. The pub, also, is very dog friendly - they even came to the table to give a small portion of Sunday lunch to our dog when we were there. It was really kind of them and he really enjoyed it! Thanks for a lovely time!
