Absolutely fantastic visit, Isabella our server made the whole experience 5 star, she explained the menu to us and was very attentive. The food was sublime and we were presented with a lovely dessert to celebrate our anniversary. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, from the minute we walked in we were made welcome Can't wait to go back!!
This place is an absolute 10/10. Incredible food, wonderful service and amazing atmosphere. As Americans traveling in the UK, this has been our absolute favorite place and quite possibly the best steak we have had in the world. Our server, Veronica, was wonderful!
We had a fantastic meal all cooked to perfection. Staff took time out to explain all the different cuts of meat. There was a large table of men that was a little loud so they asked if we wanted to move table but was fine. Very nice to be asked though.
Will definitely return and recommend.
Our recent visit to Pasture Cardiff was nothing short of exceptional.
Greeted warmly, we were seated quickly with a full menu at hand - a commendable start. Their staff impressed us with efficient service, ensuring orders were taken and delivered promptly.
We are delighted with short rib croquette and fresh sourdough bread appetizers, which set the stage for the yummy main course.
The succulent Porterhouse sharing was a standout, complemented perfectly by grilled mushrooms and the delectably creamy Mac and cheese.
This place embodies a rare blend of swift, attentive service and remarkable cuisine, justifying its well-earned excellent rating.
Remember, if you plan to dine here while in
Cardiff, either book in advance or try your luck as a walk-in. :) what a delightful experience.
I had some friends visiting from Manchester and it was our first time going, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Amazing service and atmosphere. Most importantly the food was 1000/10, probably one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. For what you get we were happy with the bill aswell considering the quality of the food and drinks. Would recommend to anyone and can’t wait to go again. It definitely lives up to hype.

We had the chateaubriand and it was SPECTACULAR. I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I've had in the UK.
The sides were excellent, we had the mushrooms and dripping chips, and both were beyond delicious.
We also tried the short rib croquettes, which were it off this world. They were so good we were going to order more, but I'm glad we didn't as the steak was huge.
We had a wonderful server and an excellent time. We will definitely be back.
First visit, and I loved it.
My work colleague and I went to celebrate my birthday belatedly.
The staff could not have been more attentive with our order.
The food was delicious.
The vegan dessert was odd, but that's because neither of us are vegan but wanted to try that particular dessert.
Oh, and the coffee was amazing 👏🏻
Had lunch here while in Cardiff for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. Had a lovely welcome, Bella served us start to finish and was very helpful when it came to ordering as there is so much to choose from.
Food was spectacular. We had Short rib Croquettes to start, then a 550g Châteubriand (medium-rare) with cabbage on the coals and baked mash with bone marrow gravy. Again, sensational food, very special place and great staff all round as we could see others getting the same welcome/conversation/enthusiasm.
We were given a little anniversary treat for dessert (we weren’t ordering dessert but we kindly got this anyway which was lovely!)
Will be recommending to everyone and definitely be returning in the future.
If you plan to have dinner here, don’t forget to make a booking. I didn’t do that and so I was only allowed to sit in the bar area and can’t order anything from the main menu. But it’s all good! The steak was well seasoned and grilled. And the chicken wings are so creative - they marinate and grill it using Korean BBQ sauce, but the dipping sauce is made from kimchi! Next time I will not forget to book for dinner days ahead.
