I'd never been there but it was a really cozy cafe that had modern elements and was just really raw in its interior.
I had a matcha coffee which I'd never had or heard of before and was actually pretty good!

I live close by to the café and never had the chance to try it until today! The vibe this place has around North Road is just beautiful. And amazing sandwiches and confections! The owner seems pretty friendly and welcoming. Thanks a tonne for making summers in Cardiff memorable with your space! Also, they give you student discounts (:

Amazing staff that are super friendly. Perfectly reasonable prices for the students around the area. Seen one of the workers there out and about and he was just as friendly outside of the work place. Excellent coffee, Thoroughly reccomend

One of my new favourite haunts! The atmosphere is very comfortable: faerie lights, plants, and study desks. I was even met with a little sign in the bathroom telling me I was doing well and that I should be proud of myself (in life not.. in the bathroom). My food was delicious, and the staff were really lovely. I even got a discount because I planned on studying there. Will definitely be coming back!!

Fantastic little student coffee shop to study in. Super friendly staff. The shop has a 10% student discount which was lovely. I had a chicken tikka panini which was rather mediocre however the cool venue and friendly staff made up for it. Will definitely stop here in future for a coffee after Uni :)

I pop into Bricks 'n' Morter whenever the bus gets me into Cardiff too early for my appointment. The staff are always perky, friendly and ready to serve ones needs.
Indeed, given the lovely experience of drinking coffee here I've started getting an earlier bus to make sure I don't miss my coffee at Bricks 'n' Mortar.

Usually busy and definitely quite studenty but the staff are so welcoming and there's a good selection of sweet treats and drinks. Think the prices are in line with other similar places and everything is very Instagrammable including the inside of the cafe. In my top three 😋

The staff are so lovely and they make an amazing chocolate oat milk frappe. Toasties and breakfast baps are great too! The atmosphere is brilliant, as well as the student discount 😄

Amazing place, highly recommended. Coffee is top drawer, and cakes are great. Highly recommend the pan au chocolat, it was unusual in a good way and one of the best things I've ever eaten

Good Coffee and so many different flavoured brownies! Close to Bute Park so loads of green space nearby to sit and eat/drink.
