Sunday lunch today under new management was perfect. Excellent service and tasty quality food from the new chef.

Well done to the new owner Insanely good! Food was delicious (I had fish and chips fish was massive. My partner had chicken parm and was amazing ), atmosphere was lovely. Such a beautiful interior! quality of food, service and atmosphere! I will be back and recommending to friends and family

Food was delicious. Room is spacious and comfortable. A little far off the path for hikers on Hadrian's Wall, but worth it.

We had a lovely overnight stay. Rooms are modern and comfortable. It was a bonus having fresh milk rather than those uht capsules you usually get in hotel rooms! Really enjoyed our evening meal and there was a good variety of choice at breakfast too. Of course what made our stay so good were the staff - really welcoming and good at their job!

A lovely lunch shared with friends was enjoyed with the best of service in a well presented dining room. The menu was extensive, and the food supreme. It was an impressive occasion, indeed.

Lovely place, staff were so friendly and attentive and most importantly the food was amazing. I had the stuffed mozzarella chicken which was lovely, it had the tastiest chorizo sauce, all gluten free as well. My boyfriend had a burger with goats cheese topping with chip and onion rings as a side. He said it was one of the best burgers he’s had and he pretty much has burgers everywhere we go, so we highly recommend The Sally!

Thank you to these guys who went above and beyond. We turned up and unfortunately they was fully booked. They sat us down for food and helped find a hotel for us and even gave us a lift there. Amazing kind people

Absolutely delightful lunch on the patio at the back. It's a cliché but really was the best chips ever, lovely homemade food, gorgeouss decor. We will most definitely return.
