A group of seven friends staying in the local area and stumbled across this pub for a coffee. Booked for dinner the next day. It was spectacular! A huge selection of vegan and vegetarian options. The food was amazing. A lovely atmosphere and so friendly.

Does what it says on tin. A warm Welcome, friendly staff and great food. Pointed us to a great campsite. Rarely you find this kind of hospitality in this day and age. Dog friendly.

Fantastic pub serving original and delicious food, and craft beers, lagers, and ciders.
Service was first class, food was so tasty, and portions were incredibly generous (I couldn't finish all of mine, and when I got back to where I was staying, two other guys who had eaten there said exactly the same thing!).
I've been told they're an award-winning pub, and I can see why. 10/10

Fantastic Country pub, Good beer and excellent food. A very good vegan and vegetarian Charming informative locals even if their geography is off - sorry paul from kent. The staff are chatty and courteous and obviously like working there . The owner is a fervent supporter of the local economy and farms.

Called in at The Drivers Rest yesterday and was made to feel very welcome from the start, the staff are friendly attentive and well mannered, with out being intrusive.
The menu's are refreshingly different from a lot of brewery chain eateries, so the choice is very good. The food was well presented, well cooked and very tasty as well as well proportioned.
There is also a very good choice of craft ales alongside lager's and ciders
We will definitely be calling back to The Drivers Rest very soon
