Good fun night as Penylins hosted an open mic night. A free beer for the performers and some sandwiches half way through. Very friendly and a real homely feel to the place. Want to go back and try the food.

Lovely family run cafe. Good hearty food for very little money. Ulster fry up was brilliant as was the boiled ham and eggs on toast.
Food was absolutely amazing in this lovely friendly welcoming little café. Reasonable price and excellent service. Definitely my first call when I'm in town and hungry.

After searching for a cafe with fresh, decent food, thanks to the help of the owner, I've finally found my favorite cafe in Carlisle! Polite staff, food is fresh and amazing, I never leave hungry or disappointed. Well worth trying

Guinness cake to die for! And lemon meringue pie like my old ex mother in law used to make. The craic is excellent, the soda farls take me back to childhood Sunday breakfasts and I'm going to get back to one of the music nights shortly!
