We had a lovely afternoon tea celebrating my mam’s 70th birthday, gorgeous food all homemade and well presented, great staff who couldn’t do enough for you, they seen if everything was ok and kept fetching tea and coffee out when needed, and apple juice for the kids too, lovely place too, would definitely recommend it thanks for making the day special for us all !!

This is the best traditional ,afternoon tea that I've ever experienced! Everyone gets a lovely warm welcome as they arrive, by the owners, as you are shown to your table! Pots of tea and coffee were brought to the table, and were refilled as much as you needed, nothing was too much trouble! Firstly a wide selection of savouries were brought out ! These included -Yorkshire pudding filled with beef and horseradish, sandwiches, home made sausage rolls, quiche, prawn cocktail in a filo pastry case. Then a lemon sorbet was brought out to cleanse our palates. After which a varied selection of homemade cakes, meringues and freshly baked warm scones, jam and cream was then on offer on the table!! All of this was served by Caroline, who was very attentive and obviously passionate about the family business! I can't wait to experience this all over again ! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
