Brilliant place to go
Staff are always very chatty and smiley I would recommend anyone to go and have a drink or something to eat
Very friendly and you don't feel intimidated f your a lady going in by yourself
We popped in for an afternoon drink and stayed for 2. Sat in the window with the sun beaming in and people watched. Great service.
My first visit here. Helpful and friendly staff. A small, tidy bar with aircon for those who wanted to cool off. We chose a table outside to make the most of the evening sunshine and warmth. It's a great place to watch the world go by and the modified vehicles traverse the city. Located opposite the Citadel it's a great first stop off the bus or train. Has a good range of gins available and offers cocktails by the jug to share. Will definitely go again.
From what I remember it was a good place me and my partner were here for a few hours.
Apparently I got rescued from sleeping in the toilet which I'm never gonna live down 🤣
Every single time I've been here, it's been friendly, welcoming and had a wonderful atmosphere. Downstairs they have a dj booth and area for a band and upstairs a room of armchairs and sofas full of nooks and crannies for chats and catch ups. Love it.
Edit: we ate here and it's incredible. Really, really good food, homemade soup to die for.
The jaffa cake cocktail and black forrest cocktail are the most delicious drinks I have ever treated myself to.
This gaffe is dog friendly and serves delicious food.
Would defiantly recommend the chipotle chicken burritos.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff you can have a chat with and great snack food to go with the drink. It quickly became my favourite place to drink.

A great independent bar that offers a wide variety of drinks.
Open Mind changed a lot over the past 18 months, trading the noisy DJ party atmosphere for a quieter more relaxed feel. Serves a limited menu of food (hot dogs, Nachos etc) and even has a few craft beer cans available as well as various cocktails, vast amount of spirits and a more continental selection of keg beers. Nice to visit after work on a Saturday night.
