Always a warm welcome here. Open, a good selection in the cafe and Covid secure. Used my Waterstones card and got a half price book of the month and a free hot drink in the cafe.

The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for, and meet your specific needs. I needed some medical attention whilst in the cafe and they were so wonderful and caring. The whole place feels like it has such a warm, friendly atmosphere and a feeling of community/ a safe and positive place to be. Thank you so much to the staff!

Great staff, really nice cafe but it can run out of hot food options. Being disabled it's worth noting that they will always gladly carry anything over to where you are sitting with genuine smiles which is really appreciated.

As well as a great book and coffee shop that sells proper tea, II was very happy to discover you could take dogs into both!

I've used this store many times and the customer service has always been excellent. Spread over two floors, there's always plenty to browse. If you're stuck for ideas, then I'd highly recommend asking a member of the team...they love to talk books!

Well, I seldom buy books these days. Yet I still visit Waterstones once in a while, and I always fancy to have a coffee at the café in such a quiet environment. My first experience however, is damn crowded. Food selection is simple but nice. Next time will get there after lunch hours for a quieter bet.

Great book shop - but absolutely love the coffee shop inside! Plenty of seating, in a great handy location. Choice and quality of hot drinks is brilliant - the loose leaf earl grey is delicious!! Such good value for money and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

This is the loveliest coziest bestest coffee shop in Carlisle.
The world slows down when I'm in here, a Birdseye view looking down on city life. Drinking a latte art chai latte from my loveramics cup & saucer... Sharing a lemon & elderflower cake decorated with petals....
