Great old traditional pub. Very clean in the pub and the toilets were well maintained and clean too. There is a good range of beer and spirits for everyone and when we went in there were a number of advertised events I don't live local but if I did its my kind of place.

Old style public house which is next to Cathedral. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service is not bad either. Serving local ales and some bottles as well as spirits.

I would not recommend this pub to any new visitor.they don't do food anymore and the landlord mumbled so much I could hardly understand him .he fumbled at the bar for 5 minutes and then he didn't give me my change for a pint.will never come here again and I hope it closes for good

Solid town pub. Good selection of beers, very capable staff. Had a couple of very reasonably priced and spot on pints. Can recommend!

You will find the pub in the historic quarter of Carlisle, not far from the Castle, and Tullie House Museum, you can't miss it, it's next to the Cathedral.
