Local favorite. The quality has remained exceptional. The custard is creamy and delicious. The peanut butter milkshake is delightful!! They sell a pup cup with vanilla and treats.

Truly one one of the old fashioned ice cream stores left, with all the charm you'd expect from an older building. The menu was so varied it was difficult to choose. We went on a Friday night, where Dickinson College students were swarming, but the service was still fairly quick, and totally friendly.. The custard was delicious, and the prices weren't bad.

The ice cream here was so good. The sundae I ordered was fantastic and my girlfriend and her son raved about their ice cream as well. This is somewhere I can't wait to go back to. Also there selection of flavors was decent something for everyone.

I returned to Carlisle to visit my Mom, we were driving by and I noticed it was open all year now. I don't think it was open all year when I moved to Texas in 2009. Anyway, I ordered a hand dipped chocolate frozen custard with peanut butter syrup. CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I'm back home in Texas now and I've challenged all my local family and friends to name a frozen custard spot here that they think is good. I told them I would tell them if it compared or not but, if it doesn't (I can't possibly imagine another heaven on earth) I would bring them back with me next April so I can change their life too! 😂😂😂😂

A local Carlisle treat since 1949! A great stop after spending all day at the Spring Carlisle car parts swap meet and car corral. The service by local "youngsters" is outstanding. Must try their "high test" custard.
