Joe the owner and chef is very good at offering you food options and better ideas of what to try or new in their menu. He also got budget friendly options. We went out as we feel so gloomy as the weather says but we kinda had a meaningful lovely evening all because we did eat out in this local foodshop. We ordered a pizza, 2 burgers, 1 chicken kebab, fries with mayo and milkshake. It was our 2nd time around and it never disappoint us. Before we ordered 1 frikandel and 1 schnitzel, it was also delicious although we didn't understand that much how was it called. The Frying Dutchman is a Must try in the neighborhood! 💯👌🏼

I wanted to order my dad a fish supper for his birthday. He is disabled and it needed to be stress free. Joe helped enormously and Dad tucked into his birthday tea and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very kind of him to make sure this was easy. Thank you.

Authentic Dutch Food, very friendly staff, the food served here is much much better than most “snack bars” in NL! I can recommend the bami block!

These guys did the catering at my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Great service and communication and every single guest loved the food. Shame I don’t live close enough to Carlisle, I’d be a regular 😄 thanks!!

Lovely food. The chips are to die for, so different to English chippie chips. I have now tried a few of the snacks, my favourite being ham and cheese souffle. The fish and chips are really tasty too. Also recommend the speculoos milkshake.

A much more interesting set of food options than normal chip shop. It's nice to have a bit of variety in your food options. Incredibly friendly staff.
