What a gorgeous pub. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food was exquisite. Best steak my husband says he's ever had. Melt in the mouth. Lovely starter, mains & dessert. Staff were friendly & attentive but not in your face. I think our waiter was called Greg, and he was very polite. We did book a table, but a September evening, early week, it probably wasn't necessary. Outside seating for warmer days. There's a beautiful original flagstone floor & the place is full of charm. We will definitely return.
Food was awesome, Moss and Co always do a good meal in all their pubs.. First time at the Bell which has some lovely original features.. Oh the Barmen were friendly and helpfull too.
Lovely pub, staff were friendly. The food was lovely that egg though brilliant. quick service and a nice atmosphere to speak with family.
A weekend away and found this gem of a pub on the way back was the best food I've eaten for a long time 10/10
I ate at the Bell last night with my mum. We were really impressed with everything. It's a lovely pub, the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, especiallythe main waiter. We were very comfortable and there was a nice relaxed yet buzzing atmosphere. We both had fish pies, which I highly recommend, they were made to a high standard with care and creativity, so complements to the chef too. We look forward to coming again. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting in the snug.
Really enjoyed this pub. The Katsu Scotch Egg was delicious and so was the fish pie. And they accommodated my dog Pandora by grilling her a chicken breast. Will definitely return.
Went for meal with family and grandkids last Sunday. Sat outside as nice day. Excellent friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them. Went the extra mile bringing out a high chair without us even asking.They did kids roast and accommodated the youngest who has dairy allergy but doing hers separately. Well enjoyed by all I had baked cod would fully recommend. Well done to all would certainly recommend a visit.
We had a lovely Christmas meal here. The food was delicious, I think between us we had most of the choices available and everyone said their food was good. The service was excellent and we weren't rushed at all. The table was ours for the afternoon. There were other parties in today too. I can certainly recommend The Bell👍👍

Amazing local menu and fresh produce , warm welcoming staff always , accommodating children , dog friendly , lovely beer garden and bar and restaurant area, the food is 5 stars all round , perfect !
Popped in yesterday with my dad brother and nephew.
Had a lovely meal and some extra takeouts too. Staff friendly and attentive. New patio decking looked excellent too. Well done
